Position Overview

Speedy Hire, the UK’s foremost equipment hire provider, seeks a dedicated Delivery Driver to join their team in Kirkcaldy. This pivotal role involves operating a 3.5-ton flatbed van with a trailer to transport hire equipment locally. Serving as the public face of Speedy, the position requires representing the company's mission, vision, and values consistently.

Work Details

• Location: Kirkcaldy, Scotland
• Working Days: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 07:30 to 17:00 (42 hours weekly)
• Salary: £29,572 annually, pro rata
• Flexible hours including job shares and amended schedules considered to promote work-life balance

Candidate Requirements

• Valid UK driving license with towing endorsement
• Comprehensive knowledge of the local area
• Prior driving experience in the UK
• Strong customer service orientation
• Commitment to supporting the unit's Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy known as Decade to Deliver
• Full UK manual driving license with no more than six penalty points
