Drive Away Specialist

Overview

Sweetie Boy Transportation, a leading auto transport and logistics company since 2010, is seeking Drive Away Drivers without CDL requirements to join their expanding AutoPilot team. This role involves safely transporting cars, trucks, and other vehicles between dealerships and designated locations within the region, providing drivers with autonomy and competitive compensation.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver various vehicles across assigned routes daily.
• Drive safely for extended hours (up to 8-10+ hours per day) in diverse traffic and weather conditions.
• Utilize mobile applications, dispatch tools, and GPS for communication, job assignments, and safety verification.
• Adhere strictly to driving laws and prioritize safety at all times.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients about vehicle deliveries and schedules.

Candidate Requirements

• Holds a valid driver’s license with at least five years of clean driving history.
• Must be at least 24 years old.
• Capable of driving light to medium vehicles for up to 11 hours daily and working shifts up to 14 hours.
• Physically able to perform vehicle inspections in large parking areas, including walking, stair climbing, bending, kneeling, and stooping.
• Comfortable entering and exiting vehicles of varying sizes and heights multiple times daily.
• Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections including verifying VINs and condition reports.
• Required to wear a safety vest on company and customer premises.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Compensation and Benefits

• Weekly earnings range between $700 and $900+, paid via direct deposit after a two-week onboarding period.
• Compensation is commission-based, with drivers receiving 50% of weekly revenues generated from their vehicle assignments.
• Full-time schedule with five-day work weeks.
