Position Summary

The Drilling Rig Foreman role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dammam. The individual will be responsible for managing daily operations of the drilling rig, supervising the drilling crew, coordinating the maintenance of heavy equipment, ensuring strict compliance with safety protocols, addressing operational issues promptly, collaborating with stakeholders, and reporting progress to management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the drilling team to ensure efficient and safe operations.
• Coordinate routine and corrective maintenance of heavy machinery involved in drilling.
• Enforce adherence to established safety standards and protocols.
• Manage operational challenges on-site to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and key stakeholders.
• Provide detailed progress reports to senior management.

Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience in managing drilling teams.
• Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation and maintenance oversight.
• Strong communication skills for teamwork and reporting purposes.
• Basic knowledge of carpentry and maintenance related to drilling rigs.
• Understanding and enforcement of safety regulations within drilling operations.
• Technical certifications or training relevant to drilling operations are advantageous.
• Prior experience in the oil, gas, or energy sectors is highly desirable.
• Problem-solving capability and composure under pressure to resolve onsite challenges.
