Role Overview
We require an experienced .NET Developer with over 4 years of expertise to join our Chennai office. This role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using .NET technologies, with a focus on airline reservation systems and related integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software applications utilizing .NET, C#, and Entity Framework.
- Design and integrate RESTful and SOAP web services along with Microservices architectures.
- Implement Sabre PSS integrations to handle airline reservations, inventory management, fares, and ticketing processes.
- Manage Global Distribution System (GDS), Passenger Name Record (PNR) workflows, and configure or troubleshoot Internet Booking Engine (IBE) components.
- Work with SQL Server databases, Git version control, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, Product, and DevOps teams to ensure delivery of scalable technology solutions.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance issues.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency with .NET framework, C#, and Entity Framework.
- Solid experience designing and working with REST and SOAP APIs as well as Microservices.
- Familiarity with Sabre Passenger Service System (PSS), including GDS, PNR, and IBE configurations.
- Experience with airline reservation systems and the travel technology domain.
- Competence in SQL Server database management, Git version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Sabre APIs, New Distribution Capability (NDC), and EDIFACT messaging standards.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Additional exposure to travel technology solutions.
