Role Overview

We invite motivated individuals to begin a rewarding career in community care by joining us as a Domestic Assistant. In this position, you will deliver vital cleaning services for elderly clients residing in the community, enhancing their living environment and minimizing health and safety risks. Your efforts will help clients maintain their independence and quality of life within their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute household tasks including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, bed making, linen changes, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, and laundry activities such as hanging, folding, and ironing.
• Ensure clients’ homes remain clean, safe, and comfortable.
• Establish strong and empathetic communication to foster rapport with clients.

Essential Qualifications and Attributes

• A true interest in aged care and aspirations for growth in this sector.
• Possession of a current driver’s license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR.
• National police clearance/criminal history check.
• Passion for cleanliness and household upkeep.
