About the Role

Petstock Group is seeking passionate Dog Groomers to join our team across multiple locations in the Macarthur Region, including Campbelltown, Gregory Hills, and Mount Annan. Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive grooming services tailored to various dog breeds, including bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, combing, and breed-specific clipping techniques.
  • Ensure a positive and memorable grooming experience for every customer and their pet.
  • Manage salon operations and coordinate client bookings alongside the Store Manager.
  • Support the retail floor team by offering exceptional customer service, creating meaningful interactions.
  • Maintain high standards for salon cleanliness and presentation, including stock management.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager and team to meet and surpass member program goals and sales targets.
  • Promote local marketing initiatives and recruitment referral programs actively.
  • Uphold a strong safety culture within the team, emphasizing safety practices in all activities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience in professional dog grooming.
  • Grooming qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Capability to implement and maintain rigorous safety protocols within the salon and store environment.
  • Strong knowledge of specific breed cuts and commitment to grooming style consistency along with brand and product expertise.
  • Physical fitness to handle lifting heavier animals safely when required.
  • Demonstrated skill in handling live animals and understanding their needs.
  • Advanced knowledge of zoonotic and skin diseases, with ability to identify symptoms effectively.
  • Track record of exceeding grooming performance indicators through quality care, outstanding customer satisfaction, and teamwork.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport with both customers and colleagues.
  • Keen attention to detail in all grooming and salon operations.
