Document Controller

Role Overview

We are seeking a Document Controller to support a leading multinational client operating in the Oil & Gas, Refinery, and Petrochemical project sectors. This role is based in Jamnagar, Gujarat, and involves managing comprehensive project documentation to ensure compliance and proper record control.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all project-related documentation including drawings, reports, and manuals ensuring thorough control, tracking, and adherence to standards.
• Manage both digital and physical record formats while coordinating document submissions through relevant portals.
• Maintain documentation procedures and monitor incoming documents via transmittal for approvals, reviews, inquiries, and information retention.
• Distribute approved Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings and documents to clients, contractors, and other end users using a common Document Management System (DMS).
• Track drawings held due to site conditions and facilitate issuing of revised drawings post modifications.
• Handle receipt, interpretation, distribution, and necessary actioning of documentation-related emails.
• Ensure closure of email correspondence requiring documentation action from the field/site team.

Experience & Contract Details

Applicants should have 5 to 8 years of experience, specifically in refinery or petrochemical projects. The position is for a 1-year contract, with the possibility of extension under MMK payroll. Working days are six per week with Sundays off.

Location: Jamnagar, Gujarat.
Working days: 6 days per week (Sunday off).
