About the Role
The Distribution Technology Coordinator for Asia Pacific supports over 300 member hotels by ensuring smooth operation and optimization of distribution systems. This position combines technical system management with direct hotel support including training and advising on distribution best practices to uphold connectivity and revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and enhance Central Reservation Systems (SynXis, MARSHA) and related tools such as HPP, Product Catalog, Oscar, One Yield, and DAC.
- Implement and monitor system connectivity and performance across various channels including OTAs, GDS, IDS, MARSHA, Voice, Direct and Mobile Booking Engines; troubleshoot issues promptly.
- Run regular system audits and health checks ensuring consistent and accurate data.
- Provide primary contact support for hotel partners globally on distribution concerns; offer first and second-level support.
- Conduct onboarding and ongoing training programs for hotel staff on CRS usage, interfaces, and booking engine capabilities.
- Advise hotels on rate setup, distribution strategy, and foundational revenue management principles.
- Handle escalations and complaints with professionalism and cultural awareness.
- Ensure hotel content accuracy (room types, descriptions, amenities, images, taxes, policies, restrictions) across all platforms aligned with PMS setups.
- Load and manage various rate plans including public, confidential, negotiated, campaigns, consortia, and groups within CRS and distribution channels to maintain rate parity and reduce Best Rate Guarantee claim risks.
- Support OTA and GDS onboarding and resolve access issues related to platforms such as Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, and Trip.com.
- Collaborate closely with Commercial Strategy, Sales & Digital Marketing, RFP, Travel Trade, Reservations, and Account Management teams on rate-loading, communication, and distribution projects.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and provide cross-departmental support as required.
- Serve as a mentor and support resource for interns during their tenure.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Experience with hotel distribution technology systems is preferred:
- CRS platforms like SynXis, MARSHA, SiteMinder.
- PMS systems including MEWS, Opera, StayNTouch, Protel, Infor.
- RMS tools such as Duetto, IDeaS, HappyHotel.
- OTA platforms like Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, Trip.com, Tablet, Mr. & Ms. Smith.
- Marriott-specific systems including DAC, HPP, Product Catalog, MaRFP, MARSHA, mPortal.
- Basic familiarity with XML and HTML is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong technical aptitude with demonstrated troubleshooting and rapid learning capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with a capacity for data analysis and logical problem solving.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin to effectively support Mandarin-speaking partners; additional languages are a plus.

This is a non-management full-time position based in Singapore but not remote.
