Job Overview

We are recruiting a full-time dispatcher based in New Minas, Nova Scotia. This role involves creating efficient routes for delivery drivers, ensuring smooth shipment operations, and managing delivery tracking systems. The position offers an hourly wage of $18.20 to $20.40 depending on experience, along with benefits effective from day one including paid time off and other excellent perks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design optimal driving routes and assign deliveries to drivers by considering location and urgency.
• Verify drivers promptly record delivery times within the management system.
• Oversee multiple tracking metrics within the delivery management module.
• Confirm order accuracy and readiness for dispatch.
• Pick items from store inventory and pack orders securely for shipment.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Ability to resolve issues quickly, make decisions under pressure, multitask, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Prior experience in dispatching is advantageous but not mandatory.
