Job description
Position Overview
The role involves overseeing daily dispatch activities to guarantee timely and accurate delivery of goods to clients. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with warehouse teams to manage inventory, processing both inward and outward shipments effectively, and handling documentation such as delivery challans and e-way bills. Additionally, monitoring and optimizing vehicle routes for efficient delivery forms a key part of the duties. Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily dispatch operations ensuring punctual product deliveries.
- Liaise with warehouse personnel for inventory management and shipment coordination.
- Accurately prepare delivery challans and e-way bills for shipments.
- Track vehicle movements and implement route optimizations to enhance logistics efficiency.
- Use SAP or other ERP software for operational management.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess 4 to 8 years of experience in dispatch planning, execution, or management within any sector.
- Deep understanding of dispatch scheduling, inventory control, and processes for inward and outward goods.
- Skilled in preparing delivery documents including delivery orders and e-way bills.
