Dispatch Executive

Job Overview

This role involves overseeing daily dispatch activities for both E-commerce and Q-commerce operations, from order processing right through to shipment dispatch. The position demands effective coordination with various teams and transport partners to ensure timely and accurate deliveries, along with handling logistical documentation and resolving delivery issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of daily dispatch operations for E-commerce and Q-commerce orders.
• Coordinate appointment-based dispatches and deliveries as per client requirements.
• Liaise with different transporters managing dispatch via Surface and Train transportation modes.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain all necessary logistics documents including LR copies, invoices, and dispatch forms.
• Collaborate with transporters, customers, and internal departments such as Sales, Warehouse, and Production to facilitate seamless dispatch execution.
• Monitor shipment tracking and proactively communicate with transporters to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to turnaround times (TAT).
• Resolve delivery challenges, delays, or discrepancies by addressing customer requirements effectively.
• Keep comprehensive and accurate daily dispatch records, updating ERP or logistics management systems consistently.
• Follow up rigorously on any pending dispatches to prevent shipment delays.
• Ensure proper scheduling and coordination for appointment slots, vehicle readiness, loading procedures, and dispatch completion.
• Maintain thorough documentation for all dispatched shipments.
• Contribute to process enhancements aimed at improving dispatch efficiency and operational workflows.
