Job description
Role Overview
The Dispatch Executive is responsible for managing daily documentation, coordinating dispatches, tracking inventory, and maintaining job cards to ensure smooth operational flow. This role demands meticulous attention to detail in handling production data, stock records, and salary-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily dispatch of finished products and raw materials.
- Prepare and handle dispatch documentation including challans, invoices, and transport details with support from accounting staff.
- Verify job specifics, quantities, and materials before dispatch and maintain accurate records of all outgoing shipments and pending dispatches.
- Collaborate with production and transportation teams to guarantee punctual deliveries, monitoring and following up on delayed items.
- Manage job card data entry and updates in Airtable, ensuring that job statuses, quantities, production phases, and dispatch information are current and correctly filed.
- Maintain harmony between physical paperwork and digital records.
- Track stock levels for raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods, recording all movements including receipts, consumption, transfers, and dispatches.
- Assist in conducting periodic physical stock audits and reconcile any variances between physical stock and system records.
- Flag inventory discrepancies such as shortages or surpluses and promptly report them to management.
- Coordinate with the Accounts department for stock documentation and reconciliations.
- Gather and maintain employee attendance details, prepare monthly salary sheets considering factors like overtime and advances, and assist Accounts with salary processing.
- Ensure all salary-related documentation is maintained systematically.
Compensation
The monthly remuneration falls between 15,000 and 25,000 INR.
