Dispatch and Warehouse Operations Manager

About the Role

We seek a dependable and experienced Dispatch and Warehouse Operations Manager to autonomously oversee daily order processing, inventory management, vendor procurement, and dispatch activities. This position demands ensuring seamless flow of orders through various stages including order verification, stock audit, vendor coordination, warehouse receipt, fulfillment, and dispatch. The role also involves supervising operational personnel to uphold discipline, enhance productivity, and maintain effective workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify and process daily online orders, matching requirements with inventory and allocating stock appropriately.
• Identify out-of-stock or insufficient quantity items, ensuring timely processing of orders and coordinating with dispatch to guarantee prompt packing and shipment.
• Monitor inventory levels, maintain precise stock records, track fast-moving products, and ensure immediate recognition and replenishment of finished or out-of-stock items.
• Manage procurement by placing orders with vendors for unavailable stock, monitor vendor deliveries, verify materials received, and escalate issues such as delays or quality problems without delay.
• Coordinate dispatch by handing off ready orders to packing teams promptly, oversee pending and priority shipments, and address operational bottlenecks swiftly.
• Supervise warehouse and dispatch staff, assign tasks based on workload, monitor attendance, discipline and performance, enforce process compliance, and facilitate training for new employees.
• Maintain comprehensive daily reports on pending orders, stock status, procurement updates, and operational challenges, communicating effectively with management, vendors, and staff.

Candidate Requirements

• Two to five years of relevant experience in warehouse, dispatch, e-commerce operations, inventory management, or order fulfillment.
• Experience in managing small teams is preferred.
• Proficient in inventory and stock control methodologies.
• Strong coordination, follow-up, and vendor management abilities.
• Good communication, decisive mindset, proactive and disciplined work attitude.
• Familiarity with fast-paced e-commerce environments.
• Basic computer skills mandatory; knowledge of Shopify, inventory management software, Excel or Google Sheets is advantageous.

Working Hours
