Job Description

The Dishwasher role is integral within J. Alexander's fast-paced, professional scratch kitchen environment. Our kitchens often feature an open layout visible from the dining area, requiring close coordination and communication with all team members and management. Responsibilities include thorough cleaning of dishes and kitchenware upholding stringent sanitation standards, maintaining a clean station and workspace, performing opening duties, and completing closing cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure spotless cleaning of dishes and kitchen utensils in line with hygiene and sanitation protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations during shifts.
• Participate in opening and closing cleaning routines to support smooth restaurant operations.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and management in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 to operate kitchen equipment safely.
• Experience and familiarity with various kitchen tools and equipment such as knives, slicers, mixers, stoves, and ovens.
• Flexibility to work diverse shift schedules as needed.
