Job Overview
The Dishwasher will handle a range of kitchen sanitation and organization tasks including washing dishes and pots, cleaning equipment, storing and rotating food supplies properly. Additionally, this role involves janitorial responsibilities across various dining areas including the Dining Room and Bistro. The position requires strict adherence to hygiene and food safety regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, pots, and kitchen equipment thoroughly.
- Maintain cleanliness in dining and food service areas such as the Dining Room and Bistro.
- Manage food storage, ensuring proper rotation and compliance with sanitary guidelines.
- Perform janitorial duties related to dining activities.
- Follow all hygiene and safety regulations concerning food handling, cleaning, and storage.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- At least one year of experience in hospitality or casual dining environments.
- Capability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities efficiently.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and work in confined or elevated spaces.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and ability to make decisions and solve problems adequately.
