Job Overview

As a dishwasher at Flanigan's Enterprises, you will play a vital role in ensuring our restaurants maintain a spotless and welcoming environment. You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all kitchenware and maintaining a pristine kitchen area in line with our high standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Adhere strictly to company safety, sanitation policies, and procedural training.
• Clean, sanitize, and provide washed plateware, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and utensils following Flanigan’s sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the shift, including sweeping, mopping, and debris removal in kitchen areas.
• Perform assigned prep work along with opening and closing duties and ensure the dish machine is properly prepared and maintained during business hours and at closing.
• Support team members as required to ensure smooth operations.
• Safely handle hot items and sharp knives or utensils.
• Complete and successfully pass the mandatory food safety certification, complying with Flanigan’s policies and Florida regulations.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to stand or walk for the entirety of the shift.
• Capability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently immerse hands in water mixed with chemical solutions.
• Lift up to 50 pounds multiple times per shift, including placing heavy items on high shelves, in coolers, and freezers.
• Work in damp, warm environments indoors with occasional minimal outdoor exposure.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in spoken, reading, and written English.
