Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashers or manually by hand.
• Ensure that all items meet sanitation and health standards after washing.
• Keep the dishwashing area clean and orderly, including floors, walls, and countertops, as well as dispose of trash into appropriate containers regularly.
• Properly operate and maintain dishwashing machinery; report any malfunctions or required repairs to the Kitchen Manager promptly.
• Restock cleaning materials such as detergents, sanitizers, and towels as needed.
• Organize and sort cleaned dishes, utensils, and equipment efficiently for easy kitchen access.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and storing supplies appropriately.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn and rotate through various restaurant roles to increase responsibility and contribute to the team's success.
• Perform other assigned tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Previous dishwashing experience in a restaurant or similar environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Physical ability to operate dishwashing equipment and handle kitchen items attentively and dexterously.
• Knowledge of kitchen health and safety regulations.
• Familiarity with measurement systems.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Capability to bend and reach overhead frequently.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift weights up to 50 pounds.
