Job Overview
The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences by maintaining cleanliness and stock in the kitchen. Through teamwork, meticulousness, and pride in their work, Dishwashers uphold the standard of uncompromising hospitality behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare a clean and organized dishwashing station at the start of each shift.
- Adhere to daily cleaning routines and checklists to maintain high hygiene standards.
- Clean and replenish dishes, plates, glasses, and kitchen tools consistently during shifts.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in back dock, trash zones, and kitchen floors.
- Dispose of garbage and boxes properly by breaking them down and moving to dumpsters or designated areas.
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to keep supplies replenished and stations ready for service.
- Communicate effectively with managers and colleagues to anticipate kitchen requirements.
- Contribute to a welcoming and spotless environment for guests and team members.
- Assist beyond dishwashing by helping with light kitchen prep and receiving deliveries when needed.
- Ensure dish machines and kitchen equipment remain clean and in optimal working order.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Positive outlook and strong team collaboration skills.
- Ability to maintain focus and stay active within a fast-paced workplace.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work on weekends, holidays, and follow flexible schedules.
- Proficient in reading, understanding, and communicating in English.
