Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time Dishwasher responsible for operating dishwashing equipment, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring sanitation compliance within the kitchen environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up and operate dishwashing machinery properly, ensuring correct use of chemicals.
- Monitor dish machine temperatures and maintain daily logs; promptly report any equipment issues or malfunctions.
- Clean and sanitize all kitchenware including china, glassware, flatware, and cooking equipment at appropriate temperatures and store them correctly.
- Perform general sanitation tasks such as sweeping, mopping floors, cleaning trash containers, and following daily sanitation schedules.
- Regularly change the dish machine water and conduct thorough cleaning of the dishwashing station at shift end.
- Adhere strictly to safe food handling protocols and report any safety or sanitation concerns immediately to the supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must successfully pass background checks including physical fitness evaluations, fingerprinting, and employment verifications as required by licensed residential care facilities.
