Dishwasher

Job Overview

This role does not require any formal educational qualifications but demands between one to two years of relevant experience. The dishwasher will be responsible for supporting kitchen and serving areas through various cleaning, preparation, and organizational duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver clean dishes, flatware, and other items to service areas and assist in setting tables.
• Clear and sanitize tables, trays, and chairs after customer use.
• Operate dishwashing machines to clean dishes, glassware, and utensils efficiently.
• Store cleaned dishes in their designated areas.
• Restock condiments and supplies at tables and service points.
• Hand wash and sanitize dishes and kitchenware when necessary.
• Maintain records regarding food quantity usage.
• Prepare, package and serve take-out orders.
• Carry out simple food heating and finishing tasks.
• Serve customers at counters or buffet setups.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen areas including work surfaces, cupboards, storage locations, appliances, and equipment.
• Manage cleaning solutions safely and appropriately.
• Remove waste from kitchen and general areas promptly.
• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure hygiene standards.

Work Conditions and Physical Requirements

• Tasks are repetitive in nature.

Additional Information
