Job Overview
We are seeking an organized and dedicated dishwasher to join our hospitality team at 1620 Kenaston Blvd, Winnipeg, MB, Canada. This role requires working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, ensuring all dishes and kitchen tools are clean and readily available, while maintaining overall kitchen cleanliness and food safety.
Primary Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize flatware, dishes, pots, and pans consistently to maintain a supply of clean kitchenware
- Keep the kitchen environment tidy by cleaning appliances such as coffee makers, mixers, stoves, and other machines
- Clear tables of dirty dishes and reset them as needed, sometimes assisting in table preparation
- Help with unloading and storing deliveries to support kitchen operations
- Collaborate with team members by assisting in various kitchen-related tasks as required
- Dispose of trash and rinse garbage bins regularly
- Adhere strictly to food safety guidelines and regulations throughout work shifts
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous minimal experience working as a dishwasher is preferred
- Familiarity with handling various types of kitchenware is important
- Strong understanding and compliance with food safety procedures
- At least a high school diploma or equivalent educational background
- Good communication skills to work effectively within the team
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a busy kitchen setting
