About the Role

Join the Omaha Marriott Downtown, a premier hotel located in the heart of downtown Omaha, renowned for its exceptional hospitality and service. As a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and operational efficiency by sorting, washing, and returning dishes and utensils to various food service areas throughout the hotel.

Responsibilities

• Operate dish machine effectively to clean dishes and utensils according to standards.
• Unload, organize, and return clean dishes and utensils to designated kitchen areas.
• Keep the dishwashing area and kitchen clean by emptying trash and performing general cleaning duties.
• Ensure safety by sweeping, mopping, drying floors, and transporting soiled ware properly.
• Handle cleaning chemicals responsibly and assist with wiping counters, restocking supplies, and moving equipment as needed.
• Prepare equipment and bus stations to facilitate smooth service and proactively respond to event requirements.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required, though backgrounds in fast food, stewarding, stocking, food service, or housekeeping are advantageous.
• Capability to endure different working conditions and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 75 lbs, pushing weights up to 150 lbs, and working in fast-paced, noisy, or confined spaces.
• Ability to quickly shift between different duties and activities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
