Job Summary

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen equipment, and work areas to ensure a safe and orderly work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Scrape and rinse food debris from dirty dishes, then wash by hand or load into dishwashing machine racks/conveyors, ensuring thorough cleanliness and sanitation.
• Clean pots, pans, and trays according to established procedures to meet sanitation standards.
• Polish silverware using various equipment such as burnishing machines, chemical dips, buffing wheels, or hand cloths to ensure complete cleanliness.
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures and maintain required temperatures and chemical levels.
• Maintain the dishwashing area in an orderly fashion, conforming to safety guidelines.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to uphold sanitation and safety regulations.
• Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces regularly.
• Handle trash removal and cleaning of garbage cans through steam cleaning or hosing methods.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas and assist with loading and unloading deliveries.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support kitchen operations.

Work Schedule

The position operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Additional scheduling details will be provided during the interview process.

Requirements

• Previous experience in dishwashing is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage ranges from $16.00 to $18.00.
