Dishwasher - Full Time (12PM-8:30PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashers by loading, running cycles, unloading, and storing dishes appropriately.
• Ensure cleanliness of all kitchen areas including work tables, stoves, ovens, grills, food storage rooms, and exhaust hoods.
• Perform floor maintenance such as damp mopping.
• Clean additional kitchen equipment like blenders, refrigerators, and dishwashers to maintain operational standards.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene across all assigned duties.
• Respect and promote the rights and responsibilities of residents within the facility.
• Participate in required in-service training to enhance ability to meet residents' dietary needs.
• Attend staff meetings to stay informed about residence updates and changes.
• Contribute to the Quality Improvement Program actively.
• Work responsibly and with integrity in a setting involving vulnerable adults.
• Uphold the organization's values concerning ethics, morality, and integrity.
• Complete any additional tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

• Show empathy and the ability to interact positively with elderly and handicapped individuals.
• Understand and implement correct food handling and storage procedures.
• Follow instructions accurately to serve food properly and according to specified portion sizes.
• Demonstrate speed and accuracy in executing tasks.
• Possess literacy skills to read and write in English.
• Provide a current Vulnerable Sector Check including a Criminal Background Check (within the last six months) or be willing to obtain one.

Additional Information

Wage: $19.18 per hour.
