Job Overview

The Neighborhood at Vestavia Hills is actively looking to hire a Dishwasher responsible for a variety of kitchen cleaning and organizational tasks. This includes dishwashing, pot washing, cleaning of equipment, and proper storage and rotation of food and supplies. The role also entails janitorial work within various dining areas like the Dining Room and Bistro.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the dish and pot washing stations.
• Operate dishwashing machines ensuring adherence to Food Safety Standards.
• Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, silverware, utensils, and cookware effectively.
• Set up and maintain pot and pan sinks following Food Safety protocols.
• Clean a range of production equipment such as stoves, ovens, fryers, microwaves, mixers, slicers, refrigerators, freezers, work tables, prep sinks, and ventilation hoods.

Shift Details

Scheduled shifts as assigned, typically Monday through Friday with every other weekend required.

Reporting

The Dishwasher position reports directly to the Food and Beverage Director.

Education and Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
• Minimum of one year of relevant job experience is required.
