Job Overview

The Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout kitchen areas and managing the operation of the dishwashing machine following safety and efficiency standards aligned with company policies, brand guidelines, and legal requirements at the local, state, and federal level.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen spaces and equipment using the dishwashing machine safely and efficiently.
• Immediately report emergencies, accidents, injuries, missing items, equipment damage, facility issues, and safety risks to management.
• Inform management about any deviations from operational policies, procedural standards, brand expectations, or regulatory compliance.

Guest Service Expectations

• Adhere to guest service fundamentals, including wearing complete uniforms and name badges, and properly greeting guests.
• Display adequate knowledge of hotel amenities and services to assist guests appropriately when needed.
• Handle all communication related to company, hotel, brand, and guest information in accordance with privacy policies and regulations.
• Deliver timely and high-quality service to impress guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
