Role Overview

This position is a full-time, onsite Dishwasher role based at Khalsa Punjab Restaurant. The primary responsibility involves cleaning and sanitizing dishes, glassware, cutlery, and kitchen tools through machine and manual cleaning techniques. Additional duties include organizing clean items, maintaining the tidiness of dishwashing and kitchen areas, and strictly following food hygiene and safety standards.

The role supports the kitchen team during busy periods by helping with basic food preparation and ensuring an uninterrupted supply of clean utensils and cookware. The Dishwasher works under the supervision of the kitchen supervisor and must adhere to all safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in efficient dishwashing methods including sanitization of dishes and kitchen equipment
• Ability to assist with basic food preparation and support cooking tasks
• Effective communication skills with a focus on team collaboration and guest satisfaction
• Knowledge of fundamental food safety, hygiene standards, and workplace safety procedures
• Physical stamina to stand for long durations, lift moderately heavy objects, and operate in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality environments is advantageous but not mandatory
