About the Role
Mex 1 Coastal Cantina is seeking dependable and motivated dishwasher staff to join our kitchen team. The role involves working efficiently in a dynamic kitchen environment to support the preparation and cleanliness necessary for serving exceptional Mexican cuisine and cocktails. Our locations include family-friendly venues in Charleston - West Ashley, Sullivan’s Island, and Mount Pleasant.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans diligently.
- Maintain a tidy and organized dishwashing station throughout the shift.
- Assist with basic kitchen preparation and general cleaning duties as needed.
- Manage waste disposal and uphold sanitation protocols.
- Provide support to kitchen staff during busy service times.
Candidate Requirements
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Collaborative team player attitude.
- Physical stamina to stand for prolonged periods and handle lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends is preferred.
