Job Overview and Responsibilities

As a Dishwasher at Eggs Up Grill in Winter Garden, FL, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining area. Your primary tasks will involve operating the dishwashing machine, handling tableware, and ensuring a sanitary environment in line with restaurant standards.

• Operate the dishwashing machine by loading, running, and unloading it efficiently.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the dishwashing machine and immediately report any functional or mechanical issues encountered.
• Regularly check the dish machine's water temperature to guarantee effective and sanitary washing cycles.
• Thoroughly wash and properly store all kitchenware and tableware.
• Keep the dishroom organized and clean at all times.
• Ensure sufficient clean tableware is available for both dining room and kitchen use.
• Manage waste by bagging trash and transporting it to the dumpster as needed.
• Handle all tableware carefully to minimize breakage and loss.
• Monitor and maintain supply levels of cleaning agents such as dish detergents and other cleaning materials.
• Clean designated food preparation, production areas, and the dish room as required to meet hygiene standards.
• Be prepared to assist in other tasks as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor to support smooth and efficient restaurant operations.
• Perform daily cleaning of walls, floors, sinks, mops, and cooler floors.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements

• No prior restaurant experience is necessary for this role.
• Must be physically capable of lifting, reaching, bending, and stooping during work.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, up to six hours continuously.
• Capacity to safely lift bags, cases, and stacks weighing as much as 60 pounds, up to 30 times within a single shift.
