Role Overview

Join Jimmy's Egg in El Dorado, KS as a Dishwasher responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area. Your main task will be to clean all types of dishware and utensils used during the shift by both employees and guests, ensuring a smooth and sanitary operation.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glasses, pots, pans, and utensils used throughout the shift.
• Assist in organizing and storing deliveries as they arrive.
• Ensure the dishwasher equipment is maintained in good working order.
• Prepare the three-compartment sink for hand-washing various kitchen tools and equipment.
• Understand and apply proper use of cleaning chemicals at every step of the washing process.
• Perform floor cleaning duties such as sweeping and mopping when necessary.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with team members to ensure an efficient workflow.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
• Physical capability to lift weights between 25 to 50 pounds and sustain quick, active movement for periods up to eight hours.
• Ability to perform various physical motions including bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, stretching, and continuous use of fingers and wrists bilaterally.
