Job Summary

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness of dishes, kitchen tools, food preparation equipment, and utensils by washing them either by hand or using a dishwasher. Additionally, the role involves keeping kitchen work areas and equipment in clean and organized condition.

Primary Responsibilities

• Inspect kitchens and storerooms to ensure cleanliness and orderliness of premises and equipment
• Verify that food supplies and other materials are adequately stocked for efficient kitchen operations
• Examine incoming deliveries to ensure quality standards and specifications are met

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of food and beverage products, menus, and promotional offerings
• Understanding of departmental policies and standard procedures
• Familiarity with customer service principles and best practices
• Proficiency in business English, including correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation

Physical and Mental Requirements

This position demands the stamina to stand and walk for the entire work shift. The associate must be able to stoop, squat, and use their hands extensively. Additionally, the role requires physical strength to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
