Dishwasher

Job Overview

The Dishwasher will be responsible for operating dishwashing machinery to clean various kitchenware including dishes, glasses, cups, trays, silverware, and other food service tools. This role supports meal preparation and maintains sanitary conditions throughout the kitchen and service areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing equipment effectively to ensure cleanliness of utensils and service items.
• Prepare and clean the dish machine area, monitoring temperatures and ensuring proper soap levels.
• Assist in food preparation for meals as needed.
• Maintain sanitary conditions in preparation and service locations within the facility.
• Handle garbage disposal duties, moving trash to designated dump sites.

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Prior experience in a restaurant or similar food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to obtain and maintain any required local or state food handling, supervision, or sanitation licenses/certifications.
• Flexible work schedule with availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
• Must have an affinity for working with senior citizens.

Additional Information

• Employment is full-time with shifts from Wednesday to Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
• Drug screening and level two background checks are prerequisites for employment.
