Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Secure high-value merchandise following company guidelines in designated areas.
• Efficiently process direct, local, OMNI, alcohol, and warehouse trailer deliveries to maintain steady merchandise flow.
• Organize and maintain cleanliness in the receiving area, managing returns, claims, and MTRs with accurate documentation.
• Adhere to and promote safety protocols including correct use of lifting techniques and equipment like box cutters, pallet jacks, and ladders.
• Collaborate with Operations Manager and Office Support Associate to quickly resolve any receiving discrepancies or issues.
• Ensure security by safeguarding backdoor access and following key control procedures per company standards.
• Maintain product quality by following cold chain procedures and logging temperature data properly.
• Provide training and support to fellow associates to ensure compliance with receiving processes.
• Demonstrate flexibility by accepting varied shifts such as evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business demands.

Challenges

• Effectively manage overnight and varied shifts, maintaining energy and focus in a fast-paced environment.
• Handle large volumes of restocking and recovery tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Perform physically demanding tasks including standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs, and repetitive stocking and organizing activities with attention to detail.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this role is $18.55.
