Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for a global User Experience (UX) organization undergoing transformation towards AI-driven capabilities, ensuring design efforts generate tangible business results within an expanding AI-first product portfolio.
• Establish and execute a unified UX vision and strategic direction for international teams located across Europe and India.
• Serve as the Head of UX and collaborate strategically with VP and C-suite executives to align UX strategy with product, technological, and business objectives, while advocating for user-centered design principles throughout the organization.
• Guarantee a consistent, high-quality user experience across all products via close partnership with product management, engineering, and business stakeholders.
• Develop and nurture a high-caliber UX team by leading recruitment, mentoring, and professional development of the design leadership and teams.
• Design and implement scalable operational structures that enhance design workflows and integrate AI-native methodologies.
• Manage capacity and workforce planning across the UX organization to support forecasting, prioritization, investment decisions, and provide transparency to leadership.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in UX, product design, or related design fields, with at least 5 years in senior leadership positions responsible for managing international, distributed teams and design managers.
• Demonstrated strong leadership capabilities focused on team building, talent development, and establishing clear career growth paths.
• Product-oriented mindset, preferably with expertise in complex B2B software or supply chain environments.
• Proven experience in creating or evolving UX organizations across multiple products or teams.
• Familiarity or strong understanding of AI-driven and autonomous product experiences.
• Ability to convert product and business strategies into clear, actionable UX plans.
• Strategic, decisive, and hands-on leadership style with excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to undertake regular business travel to Berlin and Bangalore.
