About The Role

Craigs Investment Partners invites an experienced investment professional to become the Director of Specialised Wealth, located in Auckland. This senior leadership position involves delivering tailored investment consulting services designed to attract and maintain relationships with ultra-high-net-worth clients nationwide.

The incumbent will collaborate closely with senior team members to cultivate new business prospects, refine the Specialised Wealth advisory services, lead client engagements, and represent Craigs within the broader investment community.

Partnership with the Investment Strategy Group and Craigs’ adviser network is crucial, with proficiency expected in portfolio construction, responsible investing, alternative asset classes, and strategic wealth planning. Additionally, mentorship responsibilities include developing the investment acumen of junior colleagues.

About You

Applicants should be seasoned investment specialists possessing a robust understanding of financial markets alongside demonstrated strengths in business development and managing client relationships. Comfort working with high-net-worth clients and senior-level stakeholders is essential, as is the ability to navigate complex situations, solve problems effectively, and offer strategic guidance to drive Craigs' premium wealth portfolio growth.

Candidates must have relevant finance or investment qualifications or commensurate experience. Strong analytical capabilities and a sound grasp of asset allocation and portfolio construction principles are required. The role demands a collaborative spirit, articulate communication skills, and a firm commitment to delivering superior client service and enhancing team capabilities.
