Role Summary

The company seeks an energetic and results-oriented Director of Solutions to lead a dynamic team supporting various sales divisions across EMEA. This leadership position is crucial for aligning solution development with revenue objectives and ensuring efficient coordination among cross-functional units.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape the product development roadmap, overseeing storage/server and JBOD system product integration.
• Design and implement clear strategies collaborating with marketing, engineering, and business development to deliver comprehensive server solutions to clients.
• Utilize a strong technical foundation to define product requirements for cloud and data center infrastructure solutions driven by customer needs, market trends, and business goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers at multiple levels including top executives, engineering, and product marketing to communicate capabilities and understand challenges.
• Escalate urgent issues to senior management and vendors to ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct product training sessions for internal teams, sales staff, and customers.
• Support advanced customer service (level 3) for both internal and external stakeholders as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering preferred.
• At least 15 years of hands-on experience in system/server architecture is desirable.
• Proven expertise in product marketing or management, overseeing products throughout their lifecycle from concept to end-of-life.
• In-depth knowledge of computer architecture.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively interact with customers, address inquiries, and gather feedback.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems such as Ubuntu, SUSE, Red Hat, and CentOS.
• Experience with virtualization, containerization, and storage technologies including VMware, VirtualBox, Docker, Kubernetes, and CEPH.
