Director Shared Services (Emirati)

Position Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Director of Shared Services based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This senior leadership role is perfect for a seasoned corporate services professional capable of uniting various support functions, enhancing operational performance, and establishing a cohesive and efficient internal service framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Steer the comprehensive shared services agenda by designing and implementing a synchronized operational model across key support functions, ensuring service delivery meets organizational objectives efficiently.
• Enhance internal processes by streamlining workflows, reinforcing governance practices, and introducing transparent performance metrics within corporate support departments.
• Oversee strategic management of people, finance, procurement, facilities, administration, and technology support functions to guarantee seamless collaboration.
• Manage departmental planning, budgeting, and resource allocation; continuously monitor performance and address deficiencies proactively.
• Lead significant organizational change and transformation projects, ensuring successful adoption of new structures, processes, and working methods.
• Foster leadership development throughout the function, advance succession planning, and nurture a culture emphasizing accountability, high service standards, and ongoing improvement.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 10 years of professional experience in shared services, corporate services, business support, or broad operational leadership roles.
• Strong leadership background overseeing multiple enabling functions such as HR, finance, procurement, facilities, administration, or IT support.
• Demonstrated success in elevating service delivery, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving cross-functional initiatives within complex organizations.
• Expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, performance oversight, governance frameworks, and managing organizational change.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.
• Excellent stakeholder management capabilities, analytical problem-solving skills, sound decision-making ability, and proven leadership at senior management levels.
