- Own the roadmap for Merchant Payments analytics and AI, targeting measurable benefits like transaction volume growth and fraud reduction.
- Deliver end-to-end analytics solutions—ranging from dashboards and KPIs to predictive tools—ensuring adoption and lifecycle maintenance.
- Set and enforce high standards for code quality including reviews, static analysis, secure coding practices, and testing methodologies.
- Oversee governance in areas of ownership, metadata, data quality SLAs, retention, access controls, and certification to maintain data integrity and consistency.
- Facilitate governance forums and remediation aligned with delivery goals to provide timely insights supporting sales and portfolio management.

- Steer adoption of agentic AI-driven engineering and SDLC automation to boost quality and efficiency with strict validation, security, and traceability controls.
- Leverage expertise in software development lifecycle tools and enterprise-authorized AI methods to enhance automation and operational capacity at scale.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- At least 10 years of formal experience in software engineering complemented by over 5 years in leadership roles managing complex technical challenges.
- Proven capability in delivering enterprise-grade analytics and AI solutions from conception through production and ongoing support.
- Strong command of SDLC discipline with emphasis on code reviews, automation testing, CI/CD, and regulated release processes.
- Experience managing non-functional requirements such as availability, resiliency, performance, and security for critical platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of modern data platform governance including metadata, lineage, data quality, and access management.
- Track record of delivering business value through revenue growth, cost savings, risk mitigation, and measurable adoption of analytics and AI tools.
- Expertise in maintaining operational reliability, including meeting service-level objectives and managing incident response effectively.
- Experience engaging executive stakeholders across technology and business units, translating strategy into measurable outcomes.
- Familiarity with implementing agentic AI-enabled engineering workflows and establishing governance around secure handling and validation.
- Understanding of responsible AI principles and control mechanisms suitable for engineering processes handling sensitive data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake for high-scale analytics and AI workloads focusing on performance and cost efficiency.
- Background in building and managing large language model (LLM) and agentic AI systems with emphasis on monitoring and safety.
- Experience in operating high-throughput, low-latency, 24/7 platforms, preferably in payments domains.
