Key Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and nurture a skilled and motivated engineering team by recruiting, mentoring, conducting performance reviews, and recognizing achievements.
• Ensure the hotel complies with all safety regulations by managing the maintenance of structural, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and life safety systems, coordinating inspections to meet local and national standards.
• Oversee daily maintenance operations by prioritizing and completing service requests efficiently, resolving guest concerns and emergencies in a timely manner through property management systems.
• Assist in managing property improvement projects, including scheduling, budgeting, contractor selection, licensing, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement energy-saving strategies to promote sustainability and reduce utility expenses across the property.
• Monitor departmental KPIs such as equipment condition, audit outcomes, and team productivity, initiating improvements as necessary.
• Collaborate with hotel leadership to support operational tasks such as evacuation planning, duty management, and enforcing safety protocols.
