Director of Data & Analytics

Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Director of Data & Analytics to spearhead our organization's comprehensive data strategy and analytics efforts in Dubai. This senior leadership role involves steering enterprise-wide data initiatives that translate complex information into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement the company-wide data and analytics strategy.
• Lead, develop, and support high-performing teams within data, analytics, and business intelligence domains.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to discover opportunities driven by data insights.
• Set and uphold frameworks for data governance, quality assurance, security, and management.
• Manage enterprise-level reporting, dashboard creation, business intelligence, and advanced analytic solutions.
• Promote a culture of data-based decision-making throughout organizational units.
• Create scalable platforms and tools for data, analytics, and comprehensive reporting functions.
• Interpret complex data sets to provide clear and practical business insights.
• Track and analyze data and analytics outcomes using relevant KPIs and metrics.
• Work closely with technology teams to align on data architecture and support digital transformation initiatives.
• Assess and integrate emerging technologies in analytics, artificial intelligence, and automation.
• Oversee strategic data-related projects, budget planning, setting priorities, and manage external technology partners.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Analytics, Statistics, or a similar discipline preferred.
• At least 8 years of progressive experience leading roles in data, analytics, business intelligence, or technology.
• Proven capability in managing and mentoring teams in data and analytics fields.
• Deep understanding of data governance frameworks, business intelligence methodologies, data architecture, and analytics technologies.
• Familiarity with modern cloud-based data platforms and visualization software.
• Strong business insight paired with strategic problem-solving aptitude.
• Exceptional communication skills with experience managing relationships at executive levels.
• Ability to effectively bridge technical data concepts to business outcomes.
• Experience working within the UAE or GCC markets is an advantage.
