Director of Data & Analytics

Position Overview

We seek an experienced and visionary Director of Data & Analytics to lead and shape our organization's data-driven strategies and initiatives. Situated in Dubai, this full-time executive role offers the chance to spearhead data transformation, drive AI innovation, and influence critical business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive data and analytics strategies across the enterprise.
• Oversee teams focused on data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, and data science.
• Recruit, develop, and guide high-performing analytics professionals.
• Set and maintain standards for data governance, quality assurance, security, and management.
• Collaborate with senior executives to translate complex business challenges into analytical solutions.
• Create dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs), predictive models, and actionable insights to support executive decision-making.
• Identify and capitalize on opportunities involving AI, machine learning, automation, and other advanced analytical methods.
• Manage and optimize data-related infrastructure including platforms, warehouses, reporting systems, and analytics technologies.
• Coordinate data projects, control budgets, liaise with vendors, and manage strategic technology partnerships.
• Ensure all data initiatives adhere to business goals, regulatory standards, and security policies.
• Communicate sophisticated analytical results and strategic advice effectively to leadership stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related fields.
• Minimum of eight years’ experience in roles involving data, analytics, business intelligence, or technology leadership.
• Demonstrated success directing enterprise-level data and analytics operations.
• Strong expertise in data architecture, business intelligence platforms, cloud computing technologies, AI, and advanced analytics techniques.
• Proficient in implementing data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, and managing information efficiently.
• Excellent skills in strategic planning, leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
• Insightful understanding of business strategies and the capacity to convert data into tangible business value.
• Experience overseeing extensive data transformation initiatives is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with UAE or GCC markets will be considered an advantage.
