Role Overview
The Director for Ireland will be based in Dublin, responsible for leading strategic fundraising projects for nonprofits, managing campaigns, and contributing to philanthropic growth within various sectors.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee projects from initiation through to completion ensuring quality deliverables.
- Employ critical and strategic thinking to identify and address core problems and challenges.
- Communicate effectively in verbal and written formats with diverse audiences.
- Embrace open-mindedness to new perspectives and approaches in problem-solving.
- Collaborate within a mission-driven environment, motivated by philanthropic values.
- Develop work plans and materials for campaign strategies and development assessments.
- Analyze client fundraising performance through interviews and data review.
- Prepare strategic fundraising documents including plans, case statements, and proposals.
- Conduct detailed prospect research and craft personalized cultivation and stewardship strategies.
- Deliver impactful presentations and development materials.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Fundraising experience or relevant skills in consulting, communications, marketing, or strategic planning.
- Strong quantitative analytical capabilities and business acumen demonstrated professionally or academically.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff, volunteers, donors, and leadership.
- Excellent organization with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proven storytelling ability and confident public speaking competence.
- Professional demeanor and proficient computer skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel or relocate temporarily to client locations.
- Must be authorized to work in Ireland without requirement for visa sponsorship.
Additional Information
