Position Summary
The Director of Investor Relations will work closely with the Head of Investor Relations to implement AvePoint's investor relations strategy. This role acts as the main liaison to shareholders, the investment community, and financial media, concentrating on investors and equity analysts in Asia. Responsibilities include maintaining transparent and consistent communication regarding the company's financial status, strategic direction, and vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive investor communications and engagement programs aligned with corporate strategy and regulatory standards.
- Be the principal contact for institutional investors and analysts in the Asia-Pacific region.
- Establish and nurture relationships with existing and potential shareholders.
- Keep abreast of analyst reports, market trends, and competitor activity to advise leadership.
- Work collaboratively with Finance, Accounting, and Legal teams to prepare accurate investor materials such as presentations and earnings releases.
- Develop and maintain investor relations collateral including earnings scripts, investor presentations, FAQs, and press statements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices including SEC, Nasdaq, and SGX guidelines.
- Coordinate with Corporate Communications to maintain consistent messaging across platforms.
- Organize and manage APAC investor meetings, conference calls, and participation in regional investor forums.
- Coach senior executives for investor engagements and media interactions.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline; advanced qualifications such as MBA, CFA, or CPA are advantageous.
- Over 10 years of advancing experience in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, or corporate finance, preferably in the technology industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and capital markets.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills capable of conveying complex ideas to varied audiences.
- Demonstrated capability to develop trust with institutional investors, equity analysts, and executives.
- Able to thrive in a dynamic, global workplace involving cross-functional collaboration.
