Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced technology leader to oversee our Data Science and Generative AI division. This senior position requires over 15 years in software engineering, AI, and data science, including at least 5 years managing large technical teams. The role entails setting and realizing our AI/ML and Generative AI strategic roadmap, developing scalable AI-driven product functionalities, and leading a talented team of Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and AI Engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement AI/ML and Generative AI strategies aligned with company goals.
• Steer the design, development, and deployment of production-level AI systems, including large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, AI agents, and agentic AI applications.
• Cultivate and guide high-performing data science and AI teams, encouraging innovation and technical excellence.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams to deliver scalable AI solutions yielding tangible business results.
• Develop standards for AI adoption, including governance on security, compliance, privacy, and ethical AI practices.
• Establish guidelines for model evaluation, lifecycle management, prompt engineering, mitigation of hallucinations, and continuous performance monitoring.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in software engineering, AI/ML, and data science, with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing sizable technical teams.
• Hands-on expertise with Generative AI technologies such as LLMs, RAG, agentic AI, prompt engineering, LangChain, LangGraph, and vector databases.
• Deep knowledge in machine learning, natural language processing, statistical modeling, and deploying AI solutions in production environments.
• Strong foundation in distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-native application development.
• Extensive experience with AWS, Python programming, Kubernetes, data pipeline orchestration, and MLOps.
• Proven capability to influence senior executives and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Track record of managing managers, senior engineers, and data scientists effectively.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience leading organizational change through AI technology adoption.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating enterprise-scale AI-powered SaaS products.
• Background or expertise in cybersecurity or security analytics is advantageous.
• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, or related disciplines.
• Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and organizational leadership abilities.
