Director - Business Data Intelligence

About the Role

The Director of Business Data Intelligence will spearhead the creation and governance of commercial data intelligence at King Salman International Airport. This role ensures data integration, accuracy, and accessibility to deliver immediate insights, aid strategic decisions, and empower commercial units with sophisticated analytics and reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Steer the design and launch of a unified commercial data platform combining data from internal teams, partners, and passenger flow systems.
• Set data standards and governance protocols for data collection, metadata, and master data within commercial operations.
• Manage the gathering and integration of varied data types—structured and unstructured—from internal sources, vendors, governmental bodies, and market analysis.
• Lead the development of performance dashboards, reporting structures, and predictive models to track commercial key performance indicators and facilitate decision-making.
• Collaborate with Technology departments to guarantee data quality, reliability, consistency, governance, and secure data access.
• Oversee commercial analytics efforts that uncover behavioral insights and drive actionable business strategies.
• Scout and implement cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to advance data intelligence capabilities at the airport.
• Enhance data literacy among commercial teams through resources, education, and continuous support.

Qualifications & Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related domain is mandatory; a Master's degree in a similar field is preferred.
• At least eight years of relevant experience with a minimum of four years in managerial roles overseeing commercial data intelligence or similar functions.
