Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Diploma Qualified Educator to join the Goodstart Smithfield Centre on a full-time basis, contributing 38 hours per week. This role offers an opportunity to profoundly influence children's early development while building a rewarding career path.
About Goodstart Smithfield
- A welcoming centre accommodating 90 children.
- Conveniently located near Munno Para Shopping Centre and Smithfield Interchange.
- Committed to providing a secure, stimulating environment and implementing early intervention for children potentially at risk or facing disadvantages.
- Adheres to the Enhancing Children’s Outcomes (EChO) community-based framework.
- Supported by a multidisciplinary team including a Child and Family Practitioner, Speech Pathologist, and Occupational Therapist to assist children with additional sensory or behavioral needs.
- Led by a Director with over three decades of experience in Early Learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Senior Educators and Educational Leaders to design and refine high-quality learning programs.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive environment fostering every child's growth and wellbeing.
- Adapt to flexible shift schedules as required.
Essential Requirements
- Possession of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent accreditation recognized by ACECQA.
- In-depth understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
- Valid South Australian Working with Children Check.
