Digital Office Manager

Job Summary

The Digital Office Manager plays a critical role in leading the company's digital transformation. This position demands a strategic leader to guide digital projects from initial concept through execution, directly reporting to the Chief Technical Officer (CTO). Collaborating with various stakeholders, the manager will analyze operational challenges and integrate innovative technologies and processes into daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate and interpret the digital strategy, proposing innovative solutions to support its implementation.
• Champion the definition and execution of QAFCO's digital vision and roadmap across the entire organization.
• Identify new digital business opportunities along the value chain, rooted in strategic and operational needs or challenges.
• Oversee the formation and alignment of a consolidated digital budget and expenditure plan across departments.
• Coordinate with department owners to uncover synergies and ensure cohesive adoption of digital solutions.
• Evaluate digital investment returns across departments, ensuring they align with organizational goals and deliver measurable benefits.
• Establish a Center of Excellence to develop cutting-edge digital expertise aligned with evolving industry needs.
• Manage the full lifecycle of digital use cases from ideation to prototyping and large-scale implementation.
• Build and maintain sustainable partnerships with local and international innovation networks to foster collaboration and digital advancement.
• Serve as the primary advisor on digital matters to senior executives and represent QAFCO at global digital and innovation events.
• Manage the portfolio of innovative ideas, ensuring effective evaluation and progression across the company.
• Collaborate closely with business units to grasp operational challenges and threats pertinent to digital advancement.
• Lead teams in developing and deploying digital products, ensuring progress visibility and alignment with business and IT strategies.
• Continuously monitor the digital strategy execution, identifying risks, challenges, and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Direct ideation initiatives to discover new digital opportunities, ensuring compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Brings at least 10 years of professional experience in digital implementation, innovation, or related areas.
• Possesses a minimum of 5 years in managerial roles, preferably within Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries.
• Project management certifications, such as PMP, are advantageous but not mandatory.
