Digital Learning Developer

About the Role

Riskonnect invites applications for the position of Digital Learning Developer to design, develop and enhance compelling digital learning experiences for employees, customers, and partners. This role involves close collaboration with Product teams, subject matter experts, and training stakeholders to translate complex software features and business operations into clear, functional learning content. The developer will engage throughout the content lifecycle, including requirement gathering, course design, authoring, testing, publishing, and ongoing maintenance.

The position offers a chance to blend instructional design methodologies, eLearning technologies, multimedia production, and ethical AI integration to help grow Riskonnect Academy’s global content offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units, product teams, and experts to identify learning needs, comprehend software behavior, and define course prerequisites.
• Apply approved AI tools alongside instructional design principles and content guidelines to formulate learning objectives, develop course frameworks, scripts, storyboards, and assessments.
• Develop, publish, test, and uphold engaging eLearning modules and supplementary materials utilizing suitable authoring and multimedia software, ensuring content precision, accessibility, and alignment with up-to-date product functionality.
• Work closely with subject matter experts and training stakeholders to review and refine content reflecting business developments, learner input, survey feedback, and assessment outcomes while preserving consistent quality.
• Manage assigned projects actively to fulfill all deliverables within established timelines.
• Stay informed of advancements in AI, instructional design, and digital learning technologies, proposing enhancements as relevant.
• Provide assistance with other learning content initiatives when necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts.
• Minimum two years' professional experience in eLearning, digital content creation, or a related discipline.
• Possession of a bachelor’s degree in a related subject or corresponding practical experience.
• Familiarity with instructional design concepts and digital learning development processes.
• Experience with eLearning authoring software; proficiency with Articulate Storyline or Rise is preferred.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively with subject matter experts and rapidly assimilate software products and workflows.
• Adeptness at responsibly employing AI tools for research, course formulation, and content creation, ensuring output accuracy and quality through validation.
• Strong detail orientation, technical problem-solving abilities, and efficient time-management skills.

Additional Desirable Skills

• Experience working with SaaS platforms, multimedia editing tools, learning management systems (LMS), or SCORM standards.
