About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Die Designer with 3 to 6 years of experience specializing in press tool development. This position involves direct responsibility for advancing the toolroom's capabilities, from initial die planning to final tryout, with the ambition to grow into the Head of Toolroom role.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the expansion and improvement of the toolroom operations including design, tryouts, and troubleshooting.
- Reduce die development cycle time by implementing standard designs and efficient project planning.
- Create detailed designs for progressive, compound, and drawing dies; including part drawings, strip layouts, raw material estimates, and bill of materials (BOM).
- Engage hands-on with new product development, tryouts, and problem-solving on parts such as fan covers, motor covers, geyser components, and automotive parts for notable OEM clients.
