Dialysis Technician

Role Overview

The position of Dialysis Technician is available at Mohali, Sector 69 location. Candidates should possess between 3 and over 10 years of experience in dialysis technology. The monthly remuneration ranges from ₹12,000 to ₹18,000. A Diploma or Bachelor of Science in Dialysis Technology qualification is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines, ensuring they function correctly.
• Assist patients with positioning, continuously monitor vital signs, and provide comfort during sessions.
• Carry out dialysis treatments following established protocols, including femoral dialysis procedures.
• Manage care related to vascular access and any open wounds of patients.
• Handle emergencies related to dialysis promptly and effectively.
• Ensure proper reprocessing of dialyzers with adherence to all safety precautions per protocol.
• Maintain inventory control and report any shortages in supplies.
• Report any equipment malfunctions to the designated department immediately.
• Operate and supervise the RO water treatment systems including routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Keep accurate water quality records and maintain cleanliness and safety of the dialysis environment.
• Monitor patients closely for any treatment complications and report abnormalities promptly.
• Follow strict infection control, sterilization, and patient safety procedures.
• Maintain comprehensive records on patients, treatments, equipment, and the RO system.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Be prepared to respond to patient emergencies and assist with critical interventions as necessary.
